Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the social media scheduling service available at https://trypost.lvq.social (the "Service"). By signing in to or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by LVQ Consult ApS (CVR: 39645092), Mosegårdsvej 3, 8700 Horsens, Denmark ("we", "us"). You can contact us at lars@lvq.dk or by phone at +45 22 78 28 10.

2. What the Service is

The Service is a self-hosted instance of the open-source TryPost application. It lets authorised users draft, schedule and publish content to social media accounts they have connected, such as Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads and LinkedIn, and view basic metrics about that content. We run the Service primarily for our own use; other people use it only by invitation. There is no public self-registration.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You may only use the Service with an account we have created or invited you to. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and any API keys or access tokens confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at once if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Connected third-party platforms

To publish content, you connect one or more third-party social media accounts (for example Facebook, Instagram, Threads or LinkedIn) to the Service through the authorisation flow those platforms provide. When you do so:

We do not control the third-party platforms and are not responsible for their availability, their decisions about your content or accounts, or changes to their APIs that affect the Service.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the text, images, video and other material you upload to or publish through the Service ("Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and transmit your Content only as needed to operate the Service and to deliver it to the platforms you choose. You are solely responsible for your Content and for having the rights needed to publish it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue all or part of it at any time, with or without notice, including during maintenance or when a third-party platform changes its API. Scheduled posts may be delayed or fail if the Service or a connected platform is unavailable; we recommend that you do not rely on the Service for time-critical publishing without checking the result.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if required to do so by a platform or by law, or if we stop operating the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account and data as described on our data deletion page. On termination your access ends and we delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it by law.

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal data, including data received from connected platforms, is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill arising out of or in connection with the Service, including posts that were not published, were published late, or were published with errors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at https://lvq.dk/terms-of-service.html. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably is subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to lars@lvq.dk or through our contact form.
